THIS WEEK:
The University of Utah women's swimming and diving team takes on Colorado State this Saturday, Jan. 21, at Ute Natatorium. The meet is slated to begin at 5 p.m. and will consist of 16 events.
The Utah women's team beat New Mexico and TCU over the weekend to improve to 5-1 overall and remain undefeated in conference dual meets at 4-0. The women currently are the only undefeated team in the MWC with BYU falling to TCU over the weekend.
SCOUTING COLORADO STATE:
Colorado State holds a 4-1 conference mark with its sole loss at the hands of TCU in Fort Collins, Colo. Colorado State has not competed since Dec. 3, 2005, when the Rams beat Air Force and San Diego State in a double dual meet. CSU will compete against BYU on Friday night before facing the Utes on Saturday.
QUOTING HEAD COACH Michael Litzinger: "Swimming and diving against CSU is always a highlight of our season. We both are usually in the running for a conference title which makes for an exciting afternoon of college swimming."
