Utah's Jones Named MWC Diver of the Week

University of Utah diver, Andrew Jones was named Mountain West Conference Diver of the Week on Wednesday. Jones, a senior, won both one-meter diving and three-meter diving events against UC San Diego. In one-meter diving, Jones scored a 269.10 and in three-meter diving he tallied a score of 265.75. The two victories against the Tritons marked the first victories of the season for the Salt Lake City native. Jones is the second Ute to be awarded swimmer or diver of the week in the conference this season.
Jones and the Utes will be in action at UNLV on Saturday, November 4. The meet with the Rebels will be the opener for the team in MWC competition.
