SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The University of Utah women's tennis team hosted Kansas State at the Eccles Tennis Center yesterday. Although walking away with a 2-5 loss, this was a great match for Utah. The Utes played well at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions to earn the doubles point for the U. In singles play, Emily Kwok earned the second point for Utah at the No. 2 singles spot with a 6-2, 6-3 win over her opponent from Kansas. The match ended with a 2-5 loss for Utah, making their season record 1-3.

"This was a great night for us. We had a great win at No. 2 doubles and singles. Winning the doubles point was a big step for our team. We are starting to see a lot of improvement with each match. This was a very close match against a good team."
