OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Sterling Richards finished third in the men's 1-meter diving event at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regional at the Aquatic Center at Oklahoma City Community College. Kelsey Patterson finished seventh in the women's 3-meter event.
Richards finished with 636.35 points in the 1-meter, to follow up his second-place finish in the 3-meter event. Andrew Jones finished 14th with 509.45 points, while Damien Brown finished 18th overall with 491.95 points. Jacob Jewett failed to make the finals after finishing 19th in the preliminary round with 222.40 points.
Patterson finished with 580.20 points in the 3-meter, to follow up her seventh-place finish in the 1-meter as well. Anna Braszkiwiecz finished 31st with 212.80 points in the preliminary round, which wasn't enough to qualify for the finals.
The three-day event concludes with the men's and women's platform diving, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
