SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team ended their weekend with a bang today. The Utes defeated the New Mexico State Aggies with a 7-0 sweep; making the Utes' season record 7-3. Ute sophomore Elizabeth Ferris had a great game this afternoon playing at the No. 1 singles spot. She defeated Mignot from the Aggies 6-3, 7-6(5).
"New Mexico is a really great team," says Dorny. "It was a great win for Utah, and now that we are playing well, it will be interesting to see how we do against No. 24 Oregon at the end of next week."
