This Week:
The University of Utah women's tennis team goes on the road this weekend to Colorado Springs, Colo. The Utes will face Air Force on Thursday, followed by Friday's competition against the University of Wyoming. Utah will end this week's competition with a Saturday meet against Colorado State. The meets are scheduled to take place at noon for the time being and will be held at a neutral site.
The Opposition:
Air force is not currently ranked by the ITA. The Falcons enter competition with a 9-15 overall record and a 1-5 record in conference play.
The University of Wyoming is also not currently ranked. The Cowboys are currently 8-12 for this season and have an 0-6 conference play record starting this week.
Colorado State starts the week with a 9-10 overall record and a 2-4 conference play season record. Playing for the Rams is No. 121 Emily Kirchem.
Ute Notes:
The University of Utah women's tennis team enters competition this week unranked with a 9-9 overall record. The Utes currently have a 0-5 conference play record, but are in hopes to have a turn around during this week's competition. No. 74 Elizabeth Ferris will continue to lead the Utes in singles play.
