COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Utah women's tennis team rallied together to win their first conference match of the season today. The Utes pulled a 5-2 win over the Air Force Falcons at a neutral site in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Sophomore Emily Kwok fought for a win (6-2, 4-6, 6-4) at the No. 2 singles spot against Lauren Wilson of Air Force. Also posting big scores in singles was freshman Leigh Walsh with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the No. 4 spot and Cheyenne Reveche with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles. Finishing out singles for the Utes at the No. 6 spot was freshman Karine Bourdages with a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Meghan Kiser from Air Force.
Tomorrow the Utes will face the Wyoming Cowboys in Colorado Springs, Colo.
