- Utah's lead in the all-time series with Air Force improved to 43-11. The Falcons had won two in a row over the Utes after sweeping the 2005-06 season series. Utah improves to 25-3 against Air Force in Salt Lake City.
- Air Force is ranked 13th in this week's Associated Press poll. The Runnin' Utes' last win over a team ranked in the AP poll was over No. 17 Oklahoma (67-58) on March 19, 2005 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Utes' last win over a ranked team at home was over No. 1 Alabama (51-49) on Dec. 30, 2002
- Utah's shot a season-best 70.7 percent from the field tonight. The Utes' previous best field goal percentage in a game this season was 62.3 percent versus Virginia on Dec. 20 in Puerto Rico.
- The Runnin' Utes also recorded the fourth-best single-game field goal percentage mark in school history. The previous fourth-best mark was 70.0 percent versus San Jose State on Jan. 23, 1999.
- Utah shot 72.7 percent from the field in the second half, which is its best shooting half of the season. The Utes shot 68.4 percent in the first half, which equals its previous best shooting half of the season. The Utes also shot 68.4 percent in the second half at Santa Clara on Nov. 18.
- The Utes have shot at least 50 percent from 3-points in nine of 18 games this season.
- Utah had a season-high 19 turnovers. Its previous high mark was 18 versus Northwestern on Dec. 21.
- Sophomore forward Shaun Green had his 15th double-figure scoring game (15 points) of the season and his fifth in a row.
- Sophomore center Luke Nevill had his seventh double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) of the season and the 11th of his career.
- Luke Nevill also had his 16th double-figure scoring game of the season, which is tied for the team lead.
- Junior guard Johnnie Bryant scored in double-figures (18 points) for the 16th time this season, which is tied for the team lead.
- Sophomore guard Lawrence Borha had a career-high 13 points. He also had his fourth double-figure scoring game of the season and the fifth of his career. He tied a career-high with four assists.
- Senior Ricky Johns had his first double-figure scoring game (14 points) of the season and the second of his career.
