TULSA, OKLA. - The University of Utah women's tennis team completed the fourth day of the Central Regional Tournament on Saturday. Elizabeth Ferris (88) and Evgenia Kryunchkova both fell in singles play; one in the main draw and one in the consolation bracket.
Ferris stepped onto the court to face Aurelija Misevcuite from Arkansas in the main draw quarterfinals on Saturday. The two played through two sets for a 6-2, 6-0 victory in Misevcuite's favor.
In the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket, Kryunchkova faced Florentina Hanisch from Wichita State University. After battling through two sets, Hanisch walked away victorious with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
