Utah Head Coach Elaine Elliott
"We're just trying to get our kids to be better at some things and move forward. We're trying to get better at the fundamentals of the game. We've got to grow these young kids. It's not about the result, it's about working at getting better."
"CSU plays hard and they have some good kids. You've just got to play hard for 40 minutes."
"I'm so happy for Kim (Smith). There is no one more deserving in all the years I've coached. That's a lot of kids and a lot of years, so that says a lot."
Utah Sophomore Guard Morgan Warburton
"Kim (Smith) deserves everything she gets. I'm really happy for her."
"We were supposed to win and we didn't want to spoil Kim's big day."
"The season's not over. We can win these last five games and be right at the top. I think we can do it, I have confidence."
Utah Senior Guard Heidi Carlsen
"We definitley came together as a team today to get this win."
"Every day we need to bring the same mentality to practice. I think if we do that, we'll be fine."
CSU Head Coach Jen Warden
"I think difference in the second half is that we don't have one more player. When a player reaches that point of fatigue, all you can do is tell them to stick their heels in and dig it out. Usually when you see a player slightly start to fatigue where they might have a defensive lapse, you get them out, you can get them fresh, you can get them confident and get get them back in. I think we had three or four defensive lapses out of nothing more than getting a little fatigued in the middle of the second half. That caught up to us and we had to battle back from that."
