Four of University of Utah's incoming recruits for the 2007-08 season competed at the 5A Utah State Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend. The in-state recruits all had strong performances and competed well at the meet.

The Utes also have good things to look forward to on the women's side. Natalie Edge from Kearns and Kristina Evans from Skyline finished first and second in the 50 and 100 free, respectively. Edge won the 50 free with an automatic All-American time of 23.65 and set a new Utah state record in the 100 free with her time of 50.77, which is also an All-American time.
