Utah Diving Completes Season at Zone Regionals

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Utah diver Kwan Ling Yu competed in the platform diving event at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regionals on Saturday. Yu placed 16th overall in the dive which concludes the three day regionals.

In the finals of the platform dive Yu scored a total of 407.40. She had a 203.90 in the preliminaries and scored 183.45 in the finals.

"It was great for us to compete against some of the toughest competition in the nation," comments diving coach Sterling Richards. "This will help us for next year to see what the competition is in our region. Both our divers had a great weekend and I'm proud of them."

Stanford's Margaret Hostage won the event with a total of 541.90 points.

The regionals mark the end of the season for the Utes.
