-Senior center Luke Nevill grabbed 12 rebounds and recorded four blocks and tied a career-high with two steals. For the first time this season, he failed to reach double-digit scoring, netting just seven points. However, head coach Jim Boylen praised Nevill for having "His best game since I have been here".
-Utah held Air Force without a field goal for 18 minutes and 33 seconds (from 11:58 in the first half to 13:05 in the second half).
-The Falcons' 23.8% from the floor (10-of-42) marked a Utah opponent season-low, surpassing the 28.3% shot by Morgan State. It was also the third-lowest shooting percentage by a Utah opponent (on confirmed record).
-Sophomore guard Carlon Brown grabbed 11 rebounds in the contest, tying his career high set against Air Force last year.
-Senior guard Lawrence Borha pulled down a season-high six rebounds and led the Utes with 15 points in the game.
-Two Utes made 100% of their free throws, as Borha hit 6-of-6 and Nevill went 5-of-5 from the charity stripe.
-Sophomore forward Morgan Grim made his second start of the season at forward. He started in place of the injured Kim Tillie (day-to-day, heel).
