"We didn't handle adversity well in the second half. UNLV made a run and we didn't finish plays on our end. We didn't share the ball. Wink (Adams) started that second half out hitting some tough shots. Then we got away from what we were doing in the first half."
"We played some solid defense for that first 10 minutes of the second half but Wink made some tough, contested shots, falling away with a hand in his face. We didn't react well to that."
"We missed some plays at the rim. We drove the ball well but we didn't finish plays. A couple of times in the paint we found Luke and he got fouled, when we could have had that bucket. That was their strategy on him, as soon as he got a good look they gave up a foul."
"I think the key to the game was when they put Rutledge at the `5'. They went small and he made two three-pointers. We want to try to take away a team's main players and make their support players beat us. Rutledge is a support player and he beat us tonight."
