Ute land!
Our season is off and running; I can't believe it's already the middle of November. We traveled to Logan to play Utah State last Friday and did not play as well as we could have. We struggled on both ends of the floor and they took it to us. It was incredibly disappointing to lose, however we have a lot to take away from it. We had a good film session on Saturday and are looking forward to great practices before tomorrow night. We are now preparing for a long stretch of important games. These will test us as a young team and make us better. We play Minnesota at home this Tuesday at 7:00 pm (home opener - be there!) and then off to California to play UCLA on Saturday.
Being here still feels like a dream. I have been looking forward to this since the fifth grade and it's everything I hoped it would be and more. The end of the fall semester is approaching quickly. This weekend I have been working on a research paper, preparing for chemistry lab, chemistry homework and reading, and preparing for a calculus test this Friday. Needless to say I spend a lot of my time at the library or at my desk! The holidays are fast approaching and so is the winter weather. We finally had some snow this weekend and are expecting more later this week.
Rachel and I just watched the Baylor at Tennessee game and it was pretty intense. It's great to see the women's game getting time slots on big stations like ESPN2.
Can't wait to see everyone on Tuesday night!
