Utah Head Coach Jim Boylen
"We have a lot of things to work on and we have a great group of young guys. We had 10 guys play today that had never played in a Utah game. We are young and inexperienced but I am encouraged and excited. Now it is time to go to work."
"Looking at what we are going to be, we aren't quite there yet. We have the chance to be really good. I thought their speed and quickness at times cut into our gaps and it hurt us a little bit, they are good at that. That's why this game was so valuable, to play against a team with their speed and quickness."
"The sophomore class, Jace Tavita and Jordan Cyphers ¬- I've been on them to play better and I thought today they made strides towards helping us win. Tavita was solid and Cyphers was instant offense with length, and he played very hard. I've been waiting for those two guys to step into that next role from last year when they were support guys, and become contributors. I am thankful that it happened."
Findlay Head Coach Ron Niekamp
"Speaking for all of the players and coaches, it was a thrill for us to come out here and get a chance to play against this program and play in this environment. Being a Division II school we really appreciate that opportunity."
"We played well at times, but at times they made us look bad. That's not a surprise, they have a very good program and they have some talented kids. We'll look at this game, try to take some positives away from it, and maybe improve upon some of the things we need to. So all and all it was a very good experience."
