-Utah is now alone in first place in the Mountain West Conference for the first time since the 2004-05 season. That team won the conference title and reached the NCAA Sweet 16.
-Senior forward Shaun Green recorded his first double-double of the season, tying his season-high with 21 points and setting a new season-high with 10 rebounds. It was his fourth career double-double and fifth 20-point game.
-Green (10) and senior guard Lawrence Borha (11) accounted for 21 of Utah's 29 points in the first half. Borha did not score in the second half, finishing with 11 points, but still hitting double figures for the ninth straight game.
-Senior center Luke Nevill reached double figures for the 23rd time in 24 games this year and the 97th time in 115 career games (84%).
-Utah forced a season-high 18 turnovers in the contest.
-Utah got outrebounded for the first time in 10 MWC games this year. Utah had won the rebound game in 10 of its last 11 games and in the other, tied its opponent.
-Junior forward Kim Tillie dished out a career-high three assists in the game while grabbing eight boards, his highest rebound total since collecting eight at San Diego State on Jan. 10.
