-Senior guard Lawrence Borha scored a season-high 22 points on 7-of-8 shooting, including a career high five made three-pointers on six attempts. His seven field goals tied his season high as well. Borha has now hit double figures in 10 straight games.
-Going 5-of-6 from three-point range, Borha becomes the first Ute in more than two years to shoot 80% from three, with a minimum of four attempts. The last was Shaun Green, who went 5-of-5 at Washington State on Dec. 26, 2006, as a sophomore.
-In Utah's two games against Air Force this year, Borha has been the game's leading scorer in both, combining for 37 points against the Falcons. He posted 15 points on the Falcons' home floor, followed by his 22 in the home leg of the series.
-Senior center Luke Nevill reached double figures for the 24th time in 25 games this year and the 97th time in 116 career games (84%).
-Utah shot 62.5% from the floor (25-of-40), including 70.8% in the second half (17-of-24).
-After three straight free-throw shooting efforts under 70%, Utah got back on track from the charity stripe against Air Force, hitting 14-of-16 attempts (87.5%).
-With the win, Utah pushed its record in the Huntsman Center to 499-105 all-time in the 39-year old building. The Utes will have two remaining opportunities to get their 500th Huntsman Center win this year as they host UNLV on Feb. 25 and TCU on March 7.
-Utah outrebounded the Falcons 23-19, winning the rebounding game for the 9th time in 11 conference games. Utah has been outdone on the glass only once in conference play (35-31 by SDSU) and tied New Mexico with 29 boards.
