-Senior center David Foster recorded six blocks in the game to bring his season total to 79, extending his Mountain West Conference record for rejections by a sophomore. He has now blocked at least one shot in all 18 of his games this year and has multiple blocks in 16 of them.
-With 79 total blocks this year, Foster is 27 rejections ahead of the pace set by single-season record-holder, Luke Nevill, who had 52 blocks at this time in 2008-09. Nevill finished the year with 92 swatted shots, including the postseason. Foster is on pace for 128 blocks in the regular season alone.
-Freshman guard Marshall Henderson tied his career-high with 22 points on 6-of-11 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 at the free throw line.
-Henderson went 4-of-8 from 3-point range tonight and has now made 43 3-pointers on the year, tying the Utah record for made 3-pointers by a freshman. He equals the mark set by Shaun Green in 2005-06. Henderson already owns the Utah freshman record for 3-point attempts with 129, surpassing Green's 113.
-Redshirt sophomore captain Tre Smith posted his first career points on a 3-pointer, while playing a career-high three minutes. Smith also logged an assist, his fourth of the year.
-The Utes held Air Force to 40.5% from the field (17-of-42) and improve to 9-2 this season when holding their opponents under 41%.
-Utah shot 50% from the field (19-of-38) and improves to 4-1 when reaching the 50% benchmark.
-Utah shot 80% from the free throw line (24-of-30), led by four players were perfect at the charity stripe: Henderson (6-of-6), junior guard Carlon Brown (4-of-4), redshirt freshman center Jason Washburn (4-of-4) and senior guard Luka Drca (2-of-2).
-Utah posted a season-high home attendance of 10,011.
-The Runnin' Utes have won five straight meetings against Air Force.
