Utes Place 44 on Fall Academic All-MWC Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -
The University of Utah's fall sports teams placed 44 student-athletes on the Academic all-Mountain West Conference team, the league office announced today. Football led the way with 20 honorees, followed by soccer (12), volleyball (7) and cross country (5).
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
