-Utah is now 22-21 against UNLV all-time. In the Huntsman Center, the Utes own at 13-4 record against the Rebels.
-Sophomore center David Foster recorded two blocks in the game to bring his season total to 105, further extending his school record for blocks in a single season. He has now recorded at least one block in all 24 of his games played and blocked multiple shots in 21 of them.
-Foster currently holds the third-highest single-season total by an MWC player. Including only league games, his 47 blocks is the fourth-most in a single season by any MWC player. He already holds the single-season and single-game records for blocks by an MWC sophomore.
-Shawn Glover made a career-high two steals. He also added six points and four rebounds in 14 minutes.
-Utah improves to 5-1 on the year when shooting 50% or better. The Utes 27-of-51 from the field (52.9%).
-Utah out-rebounded the Rebels, 34-28. The Utes are now 7-3 when outrebounding their opponents.
-Holding UNLV to just 61 points, Utah improved to 10-0 overall and 4-0 in the MWC when keeping its opponents to 64 points or less.
-Freshman guard Marshall Henderson knocked down two free throws with 17 seconds left in the game. He is now 10-of-11 this year at the line in "clutch" situations. "Clutch" is defined as having 2:00 or left and a point differential of plus-or-minus 10 points.
