Head Coach Jim Boylen:
"I said at the beginning of the game that (Desmar) Jackson was going to be a difficult match-up problem for us, and he was. He did a great job. I thought we played a lot of guys and we got a lot from a lot of guys. We had four freshmen out there, which seemed like a ton. Luka Drca and Carlon Brown were solid down the stretch. Three-point shooting was good down the stretch. This is the fourth game in a row that we've won the rebound game which has obviously been important; I'm proud of that. We kept battling and fighting. I think we played very competitive basketball.
"I felt Chris Hines' energy and toughness got us going. He is a tough nut. I was proud of him. I always tell my team if they play good defense, their offense will come around. Chris made two big threes for us."
Senior Guard Luka Drca:
"We made a goal to finish the season 4-0. We have BYU coming in and have a tough road game against Colorado State. We are right on track to get to our goal. This would be a big accomplishment because we haven't won a lot of games in a row in a long time."
Junior Guard Carlon Brown:
"Overall I think the bench played really well tonight. Jay Watkins did what he could for us with his concussion and Chris Hines did a hell of a job coming off the bench and really sparked the team."
Head Coach Heath Schroyer
I thought that tonight was the best game plan we have had defensively and I thought we did a really good job of sticking to our plan. We executed our defense the way that we wanted to and got them [Utah] to turn the ball over and score off of their turnovers. Being able to keep [Marshall] Henderson from getting any three's was a huge part of our game plan."
"We are looking forward to playing our last home game on Tuesday and come back from our loss tonight."
