CORVALIS, Ore. - Behind a stellar performance from junior pitcher Rick Anton, the Utah baseball team closed out the Oregon State spring tournament with a 6-1 win over Portland.

The Utes put up their six runs quickly, scoring in the first three innings. Tyler Yagi led off the first inning with a walk and scored on C.J. Cron's RBI single. Utah put together a three-run second inning behind Cooper Blanc's two-RBI triple. Blanc also scored in the inning after Yagi reached on an error. The Utes added two runs in the third after Cron and Devin Walker each had hits to reach base and were driven in by Kevin Hussey and Jo Jo Sharrar.
