GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The University of Utah golf team finished the third round of the 2010 Desert Classic hosted by the University of Denver. Utah completed the shootout in 15th place shooting a score of 893 (295, 297, 301), 29-over par.
Chase Hite duplicated his second round score of 74 in third round ending the shootout tied for 50th place with a three-day total of 221, five-over par.
Joe Webber completed the day with a score of 78 to finish with a score of 224 (71, 75, 78), eight-over par.
Kaleb Mahanes tied for 76th place with a score of 227 (74, 74, 79), 11-over par. Mike Branca rounds out the Utah roster with a score of 229 (77, 78, 74), 13-over par.
Wichita State captured first place in the team standings shooting a score of 855, nine-under par. Dustin Garza of Wichita State took first place in the individual standings with a score of 202, 14-under par.
Next week Utah travels to Lakeside, Calif. for the Barona Cup.
