SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The University of Utah golf team completed the final day of the University of Wyoming Cowboy Classic. The Utes shot a three round total of 907 (299, 308, 300), 67-over par. Utah finished the Classic in 22nd place.
Leading Utah was Jeff Kitches who completed the third round in a tie for 53rd place. Kitches shot a total of 221 (69, 76, 76), 11-over par.
Joe Webber completed the final day shooting a combined three-round total of 225 (74, 77, 74), 15-over par. Webber tied for 81st place. Kaleb Mahanes improved over the three rounds shooting a total of 230 (78, 77, 75), 20-over par.
Derek Adams finished two strokes behind Mahanes with a score of 233 (79, 79, 75), 22-over par. Chase Hite shot a score of 78 on all three rounds with a combined total of 234, 23-over par.
CSU-Northridge finished first in the team standings with a score of 841 (282, 284, 275), one-over par. Gunner Wiebe of San Diego completed the Classic first in the individual standings shooting a score of 203 (67, 70, 66), seven-under par.
Up next the Utes compete in the BYU Cougar Classic April 23 and 24 in Provo, Utah.
