-Junior wing Will Clyburn led Utah with 22 points and nine rebounds. He eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the 10th time this year and the third time in his last four games. He has been Utah's leading scorer 13 times has scored double digits in 19 of 20 games this season. Clyburn has also led Utah in rebounding 12 times.
-Junior guard Josh "Jiggy" Watkins finished with 14 points, four rebounds and tied for the team lead with three assists. He has now scored double digits in 16 games this season, including five straight. Watkins is averaging 16.8 points per game in conference play. Jiggy also tied his career high of four rebounds.
-Sophomore wing Shawn Glover scored 11 points, hitting double figures for the third straight game and the sixth time this year. He also tied his career high of three assists and added two rebounds.
-Freshman wing J.J. O'Brien, who is among the leading candidates for MWC Freshman of the Year, was the game's second-leading rebounder with eight boards. He also chipped in six points and a career-high three assists.
-Junior center David Foster blocked four shots, scored six points and collected seven rebounds. Foster leads the MWC in blocked shots and is among the top 10 rebounders in the league (including conference games only).
-With four blocks in the game, Foster lifted his career blocks total to 180. Currently in second place all-time at Utah, Foster trails only Luke Nevill, who holds the career record with 205 rejections from 2005-09. Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 47 of his last 50 games over the last two years and has blocked multiple shots in 39 of those contests.
-Junior guard Chris Kupets continued to be one of the top 3-point shooting threats in the MWC, going 1-of-2 from long range. Coming into the game, he was leading the MWC in 3-point shooting percentage (including league games only) and was among the top 10 in 3-pointers made per game.
-Utah shot 61.5% (16-of-26) from the field in the first half, it's best first-half shooting percentage of the year. The Utes finished the game at 54.7% (27-of-53), just 0.1% behind their best overall shooting effort of the year.
-With the win, Utah improved to 10-10, getting back to the .500 mark for the first time since losing at Air Force on Jan. 5 to fall to 7-8. Utah has now won three straight games for the third time this year.
-Utah improved to 15-4 (.789) all-time against TCU, including a 5-2 (.714) record on the Frogs' home floor. The Utes have won two straight road games, pulling even at 2-1 in MWC road games and improving to 3-5 overall on the road this year.
-Fourth-year Utah head coach Jim Boylen now owns a 66-52 (.559) career record, including a 29-25 (.537) mark in MWC games.
