Interim Head Coach Anthony Levrets
On Michelle Plouffe's performance:
"She is really talented. This is more of what she is than what she has played the past couple games. She worked unbelievably hard in practice and on her own after practice, spending time on things to make her better."
On fouls at the end:
"Learning how to win and close out a game. Time and score, what's a good shot, how are we guarding defensively, making sure we are communicating. This group has to learn all of those things every night. We can't take a moment off from learning. We are right where we were last year at this time, record wise. I think by the time the year is over we will be a good basketball team, and we will be playing our best basketball at the end."
On defense:
"We have committed to it. We work at it really hard in practice; we have been near the top of the league in defensive field goal percentage. It is something that we stress. We feel like with our inadequacies throughout the year offensively, if we can guard then we will have a chance to be in games and win games. We need to figure out that offensive end and we have to keep improving."
On her performance:
"I think it was just practice. We worked on our motion in practice and if I got in the high post I looked to shoot first, which I was not doing in previous games."
On offensive production:
"It's definitely all our practice. We are working on our motion and running our offense together. That is something we have to keep doing."
