-The win marked Utah's first victory in The Pit since Jan. 21, 2002.
-Junior center David Foster recorded five blocks in the game, lifting his career blocks total to 204. Currently in second place all-time at Utah, Foster trails only Luke Nevill, who holds the career record with 205 rejections from 2005-09. Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 55 of his last 58 games over the last two seasons and has blocked multiple shots in 45 of those contests.
-Sophomore guard Chris Hines scored a career-high 15 points, including the game-winning three-point buzzer-beater. He knocked down a career-high five three-pointers in the game. He tied for the team-high points, leading the Utes for the first time this year.
-Sophomore wing Shawn Glover scored 12 points, all on 3-pointers. He also chipped in three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.
-Freshman wing J.J. O'Brien tied his career-high rebound mark, pulling down 11 boards. He also scored four points and had two assists.
- Junior guard Chris Kupets scored 15 points, tied a career-high four assists and pulled down three rebounds. It was his fifth double-figure game of the year.
-Junior guard Josh Watkins tallied 15 points, four assists, three rebounds and a steal. It was his 20th time scoring in double figures and the sixth time he was the team's leading scorer.
-Utah is 15-1 over the last two years when holding a team under 64 points.
-Facing as much as a 13-point deficit with 13:35 remaining, Utah made a 16-3 run to tie the game at 49-49.
