Utah Head Coach Jim Boylen
"We're very thankful for this win for a lot of reasons. With no Will (Clyburn) and no Jay (Watkins), we pulled it out. We have faced a lot of adversity this year. I'm really happy for this group of guys. They talked about not having won here since 2002. I'm really proud of us, we gave ourselves a chance to win."
"We really respect this program, we have had some unbelievable games in this building. Our guys have really grown in these environments."
"I thought we handled their runs well. We got a lot from a lot of guys today. Hines really stepped up."
"We've tried to improve our pace over the last few games. We are getting a better feel for our half court offense and we executed better."
"This was a huge win for our guys' confidence. I'm happy for them to get this result. I like this team and we are playing good basketball."
On starting Hines for the injured Clyburn:
"Hines is tough as nails, he is one of our best defenders. Kupets has a great role coming off the bench and we didn't want to mess with that."
Sophomore guard Chris Hines
On the game-winning shot:
"The shot felt good but I asked God for help too. There are no words to explain this feeling right now."
