The University of Utah swimming and diving team's 2011-12 schedule features its inaugural slate of Pac-12 Conference competition as well as four different home meets and several competitive non-conference events.
The Utes begin their season at the Intermountain Shootout in Grand Junction, Colo., where they will face BYU, Air Force, Mesa State, Adams State and Northern Colorado.
Utah begins its Pac-12 era with a pair of dual meets in Northern California, starting at Stanford on Oct. 20 at the Avery Aquatic Center. The following day, the Utes will take on California in Berkeley, Calif.
Utah returns home to Ute Natatorium for its first-ever Pac-12 home meet on Oct. 29 where the Ute women's team will host Washington State.
After the USC Diving Invite on Nov. 5, Utah will face a pair of Mountain West Conference foes. The Ute men's team will face Air Force and the Ute women's squad will take on Colorado State in Colorado Springs.
The Utes complete their road trip through the Centennial State with a pair of meets, starting at the Colorado School of Mines Nov. 11 in Golden, Colo. The team will travel to Denver the following day to face DU, Northern Arizona and Seattle in a tri-meet.
Utah completes 2011 at the Incarnate Word Invitational on Dec. 17-19 in San Antonio before starting the New Year by hosting Arizona State on Jan. 7 and the Ute women's team will travel to Corvalis, Ore., on Jan. 14 to compete against Oregon State and UCLA.
Utah continues its rivalry with BYU on Jan. 27 in Provo before the Ute men's team takes on USC in Salt Lake City on Feb. 17.
The Pac-12 Women's and Diving Championships will be held Feb. 22-25 in Federal Way, Wash., while the Pac-12 Men's Championships will run from Feb. 29-Mar. 3 in Long Beach, Calif.
The NCAA postseason begins with the NCAA Zone Diving Championships (Mar. 6-10) in Colorado Springs. The NCAA Women's Championships are in Auburn, Ala. (Mar. 15-17), while the NCAA Men's Championships will be in Federal Way, Wash. (Mar. 22-24).
