"We have to give an awful lot of credit to California, I think they are one of top teams in the league if not the top team. They defend, they have size and they are a really good third and fourth option team, when you take away their first and second option they know what to do after that. In basically every facet of the game and they outplayed us."
"They're a markedly better basketball team than we are at this juncture and they played like it. We don't have much room for error. I didn't think we played with the same intensity we've been playing with guarding those guys, and some of it has to do with the fact that they are pretty good players. At some point between the curling, the popping, the fading and all those skill sets that those guys possess, it gets a little disheartening trying to guard them. A guy like Gutierrez is 2-of-17 on Thursday and you know that isn't happening again. We've got issues and we'll continue to get better but a lot of times it has more to do with who we are playing than who we are."
