-Junior guard Chris Hines scored a game-high 19 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 27 seconds left in the game. Hines tied his career-high with five 3-pointers and set a new career best with a game-high seven rebounds. It was his ninth double figure game in the last 10, his 14th double-digit total of the season and 23rd of his career.
-Junior center Jason Washburn finished the game with 17 points on 6-of-9 from the field, including his first career 3-pointer. He also made 4-of-5 at the free throw line.
-With six blocks in the game, Washburn brought is career total to 98 tying Shaun Green for eighth all-time at Utah. Washburn also tied his career high of three steals.
-Dijon Farr scored 12 points on 3-of-7 from the field and a career-high five free throws (5-of-8). He also added six rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.
-Sophomore forward Javon Dawson finished with four points, two rebounds and a career-high three steals.
-Utah was much improved at the free throw line from its first meeting at Stanford. The Utes made 17-of-21 (81.0%) at the charity stripe, including 14-of-16 in the first half alone. In their first meeting at Stanford, the Utes made just 1-of-9 and lost by three points.
-Utah posted a season-high 10 steals on the night.
-Utah led by a score of 34-33 at halftime. The Utes are now 5-1 on the year when leading at the half.
-Key run: Utah outscored Stanford 18-8 run over the final 8:15 of the first half after falling behind 25-16.
-Utah held Stanford scoreless for the first 5:27 of the second half. The Cardinal went more than six minutes without a field goal, from the 1:35 mark of the first half until the 14:33 mark of the second half. Stanford started the second half 0-of-8 from the field.
