On the great start
I thought the guys came out of the locker room with a focus of start to finish, and really kind of concentrated on winning each possession. That was kind of the message, instead of thinking about the game and the result, just get stuck in the moment for every possession. I thought we had some great performances by a couple of guys, three guys, that gave us a big lift and then we defended as well as we can defend I think.
On how well they were able to establish inside offensively
Well, that was a focal point for us. We talked a lot about that the last couple of days. Got a lot of respect for N'Diaye as a big guy, but we also have a lot of faith in Washburn, too, and that was a point for us, to try to get him some looks, jump shots or post-up moves, and I thought he set the tone for us on the offense, Jason did. He's been giving us a solid lift so far in the conference season.
On the team's poise down the stretch
It was pretty dang good. We made most of the free throws, which is the key I think. If you're not making the free throws, then you have issues. We missed a couple of switches down there in transition and gave them some looks early, but overall I thought it was quite solid.
He can shoot, he's creative, and he has a little moxie. He's got a knack for getting into the lane and making some plays.
On winning a game like this
It was just a gutsy team win. We had a whole lot of contributions from different guys. It was what we talked about. You get multiple guys playing well and that's how you win games. This is a tough league. There's a lot of competition nightly and I'm really proud of our guys.

Overall thoughts
Tonight we won our first conference road game as a program. It felt good to be the aggressor. We got nervous in the second half because we've blown leads before, but tonight we didn't. We kept our composure.
It feels so good, man. Words can't describe it right now. I'm still letting it just come over me to be real with you. It only took us a year-and-a-half. That was a tough team that hadn't lost and we came out here with the right type of energy, with the right type of mindset and once again we rose up to a challenging team.
