PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Utes wrap up competition at the Riviera Women's All-American Tennis Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club as both Utah singles matches end in a loss.
Tereza Bekerova was defeated by Ratnika Batra of Texas in two sets, 6-1, 7-3.
Sarah Pham faced off against Daneika Borthwick from Florida State where she was topped in three sets, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4.
Batra was later be topped by Jenny Julien (3) from St. Mary's in two sets, while Yang Pang of Arkansas beat Borthwick in the following round.
Utah Women's Tennis will now prepare for the ITA Regional tournament in Las Vegas, Oct. 9-13.
