Two Utes Move on to Finals of Tribal Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - With the final day of the 21st Annual Tribal Invitational coming up, Utah Women's Tennis boasts two singles players headed into the finals of their individual singles flights, Sarah Richter and Luisa Garstner Da Rosa.
Richter defeated Karlyn Timko (Marshall) in two sets, 7-6, 7-6, while Garstner Da Rosa topped Nabila Farah (William and Mary), 6-2, 7-6.
Utah's doubles pair, Richter and Garstner Da Rosa won a close match against Engbrok and Melrose (OU) 8-7 to snag seventh place in the tournament.
Other Ute victories include Crag and Bekaova over Collins and Epstein (UVA) 8-3 and Erica Valimaki over Suzy Tan (Dartmouth), 1-6,7-5,6-4.
Play resumes tomorrow at 10:30 p.m.
