SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's tennis team continues its fall tournament schedule with the USTA/ITA Women's Mountain Regional Championships Wednesday through Sunday in Albuquerque, N.M. The tournament will be hosted by New Mexico with matches played at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium and the Linda Estes Tennis Complex.

Tournament Seeding
Three individual Utes and two doubles duos were seeded in the top 15 preceding tournament play. Tereza Bekerova claimed the first seed, Jena Cheng the 10th seed and Sarah Richter the 15th spot in singles competition, while Bekerova and Lucia Kovarcikova ranked No. 4 doubles and Richter and Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa took the ninth spot.
Each seeded competitor earns a bye in the first round of play.
The Competition
The USTA/ITA Women's Mountain Regional Championship will host student-athletes from 20 schools in the Mountain Region including all four Utah NCAA Division I universities. The doubles bracket will feature 64 pairs while 128 singles competitors will take the court.
Next Time Out
The Utes take a short break before returning to the court for the Brown Invitational in Providence, R.I., Nov. 7-9.
