PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – The University of Utah’s Tereza Bekerova fell to Alabama’s Natalia Maynetto Friday in the first round of the main draw consolation bracket of the 2014 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships.
After falling to No. 3 Haley Carter of North Carolina in the main draw first round on Thursday, the 79th-ranked Bekerova was downed by No. 115 Maynetto in two sets (6-3, 6-4) to wrap up her tournament campaign.
