SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Delon Wright led five Utah players into double-figure scoring as the Utes routed Alabama State 93-62 on Saturday.
Wright was an offensive force, converting 8 of 10 shots from the field, 2 of 2 from long range and 6 of 8 from the free throw line to score 24 points. Wright also grabbed seven defensive rebounds and dished off six assists.
Kenneth Ogbe scored 19 points for Utah and Jakob Poeltl added 11 points and grabbed eight boards. Utah was 32 of 60 (53.3 percent) from the field as a team, 10 of 23 from long range.
Utah (5-1) raced to a 49-33 lead in the first half and remains undefeated in five home games.
Jamel Waters scored 19 points to lead Alabama State (2-3).
The Hornets were 19 of 54 from the field and 7 of 14 from three-point range.
