SALT LAKE CITY- After a close win over Denver, Utah women's swimming and diving welcomes Washington State to the Ute Natatorium on Saturday at 11 a.m MT. Six seniors, Samantha Zuch, Traycie Swartz, Nicole Ligeza, Treasa Ring, Alexandra Jamora and Kersten Merry will be honored before the meet.
"We are thrilled to host our final dual meet of the year against an improving Washington State team," said Utah head coach Joe Dykstra. "This is a chance for our women to even their Pac-12 dual-meet record at 3-3 which would be a great boost going into the championships in three weeks. This Saturday will also be bittersweet as we celebrate the last chance for six seniors to race in the Ute Natatorium. These six young ladies have their names all over our record books and will be very difficult to replace.Even though I've only had the opportunity to coach them for one season, they all mean a lot to me and we will miss not only their contributions in the pool, but their wonderful personalities as well,"
