With the fall signing day behind us, we take a look at the players who will join the Utes for the 2015 campaign. Today's spotlight is DaShawn Keirsey Jr., who is from La Mesa, Calif., and attends Helix Charter High School.

Keirsey on why he chose Utah:
"I enjoyed the overall feel of the school and felt comfortable the minute I stepped on campus. The moment I got back to San Diego I told my Dad I wanted to play baseball for Utah. I was impressed with the attention and dedication of the baseball staff. I like the direction the baseball program is headed and I'm excited to be part of it. I also chose Utah because its meets my academic interests."
