UTAH NOTES
• Utah moved to 2-0 to open the season for the second time under head coach Larry Krystkowiak (2013-14)
• The Utes snapped a six-game losing streak to San Diego State, winning for the first time since 2009
• Utah improved to 54-19 all-time against the Aztecs, which includes a 30-4 record at home
• Utah is now 569-328 all-time against teams from the Mountain West Conference
• Utah has now won 22 straight home games against non-conference opponents, dating back to the 2012-13 season; Utah last non-conference loss at home was a 76-71 defeat to Cal State Northridge back on Dec. 21, 2012

• Poeltl recorded a double-double (15 points, 12 rebounds) in back-to-back games for the first time in his career; This was Poeltl's fifth double-double of his career
• Poeltl had a block in the contest, giving him at least one block in the last five games dating back to last season
• Utah shot 75.0 percent from the free throw line (27-for-36), but made 12-of-13 shots from the charity stripe over the final 3:38 left in the game
SAN DIEGO STATE NOTES
• The loss to No. 16 Utah snaps San Diego State's two-game road winning streak at AP Top 25 teams (No. 16 Kansas in 2014, No. 25 Wyoming in 2015)
• Despite the loss, SDSU has won six of its last 12 games (6-6) vs. teams ranked in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll at game time. Prior to the 6-6 stretch, San Diego State was 21-90 vs. AP ranked teams
• San Diego State is 6-6 (50.0 percent) against AP Top 25 teams since the beginning of the 2013 14 season
• The loss snaps San Diego State's six-game series winning streak and a two-game win streak over the Utes at the Huntsman Center
