UTAH vs. BYU POST GAME NOTES
Utah 83, BYU 75
• Utah moved to 128-129 all-time against BYU. The Utes have won three straight with two of those wins coming at home.
• The Utes are 75-51 all-time when facing the Cougars at home.
• Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak moved to 3-2 all-time against the Cougars.
• Kyle Kuzma's block with 16:57 on the clock in the first half gave Utah its 80th straight game with at least one block. The last time a Utah team did not have a block was back on Mar. 3, 2013.
• Utah put up 51 points on the Cougars in the first half, giving Utah two-straight games with a 50-point effort in the first half.
• Kenneth Ogbe got his first start of the season and sixth of his career. He finished the game with a season-high 13 points.
• Jakob Poeltl finished the game with 26 points. It was his third 20-plus point effort of the season and fourth of his career.
• Poeltl finished the game with 13 rebounds to go along with his 26 points, giving him a double-double for the fifth time this season. It is the eighth double-double of his career. Poeltl also finished the game with a season-high five blocks.
• Utah had at least four players score in double figures for the third time this season. The Utes are a perfect 3-0 with four players scoring 10-points or more.
• Jordan Loveridge was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. It is his second 100 percent effort from the charity stripe this season.
• Brandon Taylor finished the game with 11 points and dished out both a season and new career-high nine assists.
• Utah shot .529 (18of-34) from the field in the first half and limited the Cougars to just .355 (11-of-31) shooting from the floor.
• The Utes shot better than 75 percent from the free throw line for a third straight game and fifth time of the season. Utah finished the game making 20-of-26 (.769) from the charity stripe.
• Both Utah and BYU finished the game with 18 points off turnovers.
• Utah limited BYU's Corbin Kaufusi to zero points and zero rebounds in the game. Kaufusi came into the contest averaging 10.6 points and 7.0 boards per contest.
