UTAH vs. DELAWARE STATE Post Game Notes
Utah 105, Delaware State 58
• Utah is now 1-0 all-time against Delaware State following a victory in the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
• The Utes moved to 2-0 against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference teams this season and are now 6-0 all-time against opposing squads from that league.
• Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak picked up his 78th win at Utah and the 120th win of his career. He is now 78-66 with the Utes and 120-86 overall.
• Utah moved to 7-0 at home this season, while also pushing its home win streak against non-conference opponents to 27 straight games. The streak began back on Dec. 28, 2012.
• Utah totaled five blocks in the game and has now recorded at least one block in 85 straight games dating back to March 7, 2013.
• Utah eclipsed the 50-point mark in the first half for the fourth time this season. Utah led 52-26 at the break.
• The Utes recorded a 62.9 percent effort (18-of-29) from the field in the first half, while limiting DSU to just 27.3 percent (9-of-33). The 27.3 percent is a season-low for a Utah opponent this season.
• Utah's 15 assists in the first half against the Hornets are the second-most this season, following the 17 assists the team dished out against Savannah State.
• Utah tallied a new season-high with 12 three-pointers in the game. The team finished shooting 52.2 percent (12-of-23) from beyond the arc.
• The Utes tallied 100+ points for the second time this season. It is the first time since the 2013-14 campaign that a Utah team scored 100 points or more twice in a season.
• The 105 points are a new season high, following the 102-point effort against Idaho State.
• Utah has limited the opposition to shooting 32 percent or lower in three straight games (DSU, 32.3%; Duke 29.9%; SSU, 32.2%) for the first time in the Larry Kyrstkowiak era.
• Utah tied a season-high with 30 team assists. Senior Brandon Taylor and sophomore Isaiah Wright led the Utes with six assists each. A total of seven Utah players had at least two assists in the game.
• Junior Chris Reyes scored a new season-high and career-high 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field. He and sophomore Jakob Poeltl led the way on the boards as well, posting seven rebounds each.
• Senior Jordan Loveridge, who finished with 14 points, went 2-for-2 from the free throw line and has now drained 23 straight free throws dating back to the BYU game.
