UTAH at WASHINGTON STATE Post Game Notes
Utah 92, Washington State 71
• Utah improved to 14-5 overall and moved to .500 in Pac-12 play for the first time this season (3-3).
• The Utes have won four straight against Washington State and improved to 18-4 all-time against the Cougars.
• Utah is now 4-2 all-time when facing the Cougars at Beasley Coliseum. This was Utah's second straight win in Pullman.
• Utah picked up back-to-back Pac-12 Conference wins for the first time since last season when the Utes defeated Colorado in Boulder on Feb. 7 and then Oregon State in Corvallis on Feb. 19.
• Utah's 92-point effort was the team's most points scored in a conference game since joining the Pac-12, surpassing last season's 86-point effort against the Cougars in Salt Lake City (Jan. 21, 2015).
• Utah was up 15 points at the half, leading 43-28. It was Utah's largest halftime lead since being up 26 points against Delaware State. It marked the largest lead in a Pac-12 Conference game since leading by 32 points, up 41-9, against Arizona State back on Feb. 26, 2015.
• Jordan Loveridge scored a game-high 22 points - just two points shy of his season-high - and snapped a six-game span without scoring in double figures. Loveridge finished the game shooting 8-of-13 from the field and 5-of-9 from the three-point arc.
• Taylor Taylor racked up a season-high 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field and a 5-of-7 effort from downtown.
• Four Utah players score in double figures for the first time since Dec. 28 against College of Idaho. Along with Loveridge's 22 points and Taylor's 21-point effort, Jakob Poeltl added 14 points and Lorenzo Bonam tallied 13 points on the evening.
• Kyle Kuzma, who finished with nine points, recored his first 100 percent effort from the free throw line this season when shooting at least five free throws. He was 5-of-5 from the charity stripe on Thursday.
• Utah outscored the Cougars 42-24 in the paint and scored 22 points off 13 WSU turnovers, while the Cougars tallied just three points off eight Utah turnovers.
• The Utes were 11-of-12 from the free throw line on Thursday, finishing the contest with a season-high 91.7 percent effort from the charity stripe.
• The Utes out-rebounded the Cougars 34-24, which included pulling down nine offensive boards to WSU's five.
• Utah limited Josh Hawkinson to 16 points and just eight rebounds. It was just the fourth game Hawkinson has played in without recording a double-double.
• Utah led from start to finish for just the second time this season (Delaware State).
