• Utah moved to 16-5 overall and 5-3 in Pac-12 play following its fourth-straight conference win.
• Utah is now just one win away matching its longest winning streak (five games) in Pac-12 play.
• The Utes moved to 12-13 all-time against the Golden Bears and have been victorious in four of the past five games played against California.
• Utah has won two straight inside the Huntsman Center over Cal and are now 7-5 when playing the Golden Bears at home.
• The Utes had three players score at least 15 point or more for the fifth time this season (Southern Utah, Texas Tech, IPFW, College of Idaho, California).
• It marked the first time three players scored 15 point or more in a conference game since Feb. 6, 2014, against Washington.
• Utah has had three players score 15 points or more in six Pac-12 games since joining the league in 2011.
• Sophomore Jakob Poeltl finished with a team-high 21 points. He scored 20-points or more in back-to-back games for the second time this season (Dec. 2 (26) and Dec. 5 (21)). It was Poeltl's sixth game with 20-plus points this season and the seventh game of his career.
• Sophomore Kyle Kuzma and senior Brandon Taylor finished the game with 15 points each.
• Poeltl led the Utes with nine rebounds. Utah out-rebounded the Golden Bears, 38 to 36.
• Cal came into the game yielding just a .384 shooting percentage to opposing teams, but Utah finished the game shooting .481 with a 25-of-52 effort from the field.
