WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Led by first-team selections
Giselle Slotboom and
Megan Spehar, the Utah cross country team had eight student-athletes earn Pac-12 All-Academic honors.
Slotboom, a redshirt senior, and Spehar, a sophomore, both have 4.00 grade point average and are majoring in parks, recreation and tourism. Slotboom placed 33rd at the Pac-12 Championship meet and competed at nationals for the Utes. Spehar competed in three races with her best finish 15th in the Nevada Chase.
Earning honorable mention honors was
Shaylen Crook,
Caitlin Faust,
Dakota Grossman,
Hannah McInturff,
Jade Mulvey and
Sadie Wassum. McInturff is a three-time All-Academic selection while Crook, Wassum and Grossman all also earned honors last year.
