Utah vs. Boise State Results

Boise, ID. - Utah women's swimming and diving captured five events today but came up short against Boise State, 174-126.

Stina Colleou took first in both the 100 breast (1:03.70) and the 200 breast (2:17.01), Jordan Anderson was first in the 200 fly touching in at 2:04.58 and Brianna Francis was first in the 200 IM (2:05.90).

On the boards, Lauren Hall took first in the three-meter event tallying a total score of 274.58. She took fifth in the one-meter event (225.83).

Dorien Butter was second in the 200 free touching in at 1:54.01 and Sarah Lott was the runner-up in the 100 back (56.29). Lott also took second in the 100 free (51.26).

Other second-place finishes for the Utes were put up by McKenna Gassaway in the 100 breast (1:05.55), Isabella Kearns in the 200 fly (2:05.31), Gillian St. John in the 50 free (23.54) and Mallori Allen in the 200 back (2:03.60).

In the 100 fly, Darby Wayner finished third with a time of 56.19 and Kearns followed in fourth (58.15).

In relay action, the team of Megan Kawaguchi, Mariah Gassaway, Wayner and St. John took second in the 200 medley relay touching in at 1:43.84. Lott, McKenna Gassaway, Jenna Marsh and Butter followed in third (1:44.28).

Butter, Lott, Marsh and St.John teamed together to take second in the 400 free relay coming away with a time of 3:26.14.

The Utes will take a break from competition until the new year. They will host Harvard on Jan. 3 (diving only) and Jan. 7. They also will welcome Denver on Jan. 7.
