UTAH vs. WASHINGTON Post Game Notes
Utah 90, Washington 82
• Utah moved to 18-7 overall and 7-5 in Pac-12 play. With the win, Utah moved into a two-way tie for fourth place with the Huskies in the conference standings. The Utes would own a tie-breaker against the Huskies after winning the season series 2-0.
• The Utes swept the season series from Washington for the first time since becoming a member of the Pac-12 Conference.
• Utah is now 11-9 all-time in the series against Washington. The Utes have won two straight and five of the past six meetings between the two teams.
• The Utes improved to 12-1 overall at home, with a 4-1 record coming against Pac-12 foes this season. Utah is 46-4 inside the Huntsman Center dating back to the 2013-14 season.
• Utah shot a season-high .673 percent from the field on Wednesday, finishing the game with a 35-of-52 effort from the field. The last time a Utah team shot 67 percent or better from the field was back on Dec. 28, 2014. The Utes shot .671 from the field (49-of-73) against St. Katherine.
• The .673 field goal percentage was Utah's best-ever against a Pac-12 team, surpassing the original high mark of .633 the team posted against Arizona State back on Feb. 26, 2015.
• Utah shot a season-high .588 percent from downtown, going 10-of-17 from the three-point line.
• The Utes have now scored 90 points or more for a school-record three times against Pac-12 teams. The last time a Utah team scored 90+ points against three conference opponents came back in 1994-95 when the Utes were a member of the Western Athletic Conference.
• Utah's 26 assists are the most-ever recorded against a Pac-12 team since joining the league in 2011. Utah's previous high was a 23-assist effort against Oregon State back on Jan. 4, 2013.
• The 26 assists are the most the team has recorded since posting 28 assists against Delaware State back on Dec. 22, earlier this season. Utah has dished out 20 assists or more in six games this season.
• Utah had five players score in double figures for the seventh time this season.
• Sophomore Jakob Poeltl recorded a game-high 23 points on 11-of-12 shooting. His .917 field goal percentage is the big man's highest of the season when attempting more than 20 field goals in a game.
• Junior Lorenzo Bonam snapped a zero-point scoring drought with an 18-point effort against Washington on Wednesday. He was 7-of-9 from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line.
• Senior Jordan Loveridge notched a second-straight 16-point effort after going 5-of-8 from downtown on Wednesday.
• Senior Brandon Taylor, who also went scoreless this past Sunday in Oregon, notched a 15-point effort on Wednesday going 5-of-8 from the field and 4-of-7 from beyond the three-point arc.
• Junior Chris Reyes wrapped up Utah's double-digit scoring with a 10-point effort of the bench. The 10 points are his second-most points scored against a conference opponent (11, vs. Washington, 1/21/15).
• Sophomore Kyle Kuzma notched a career-high seven assists in the game.
