SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's tennis team advanced to 4-2 on the season in the first of two home matches on Saturday over the Boise State Broncos.
Margo Pletcher and Brianna Turley started the match strong with a 6-0 victory over Megan LaLone and Naomi de Hart.
They were followed closely by Sarah Richter and Alexia Petrovic who collected a 6-1 victory against Milena Toseva and Hanna Kantenwein to gain Utah the doubles point.
In singles, Richter defeated Teal Vosburgh 6-1, 6-0 to give Utah its next point.
Taylor Calton finished next beating Toseva 6-2, 6-0. She improves to 4-1 on the season with one match unfinished.
Jena Cheng followed with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Arianna Paules Aldrey.
Petrovic improved to 5-1 on her singles season beating Nancy Menjivar 6-1, 6-0.
Turley beat Bobbi Oshiro 6-3, 6-4.
