The Utah baseball team recently closed out fall team practice.
"We had a good fall," Utah head coach
Bill Kinneberg said. "At the end of the fall we naturally still have some work to do. I was very pleased with our offense and pleased with the depth of our pitching staff. We have a lot of young new players who had great falls, but still need some work. We're back into individual workouts, and it's an important time for us to get stronger and make some tweaks."
Kinneberg singled out several offensive players who were strong during the fall campaign.
"Zack Moeller, Chandler Anderson and Rykker Tom all had great falls, along with several others," Kinneberg said. "DaShawn Keirsey, Jr., really made some strides with his injury. I'm very happy with where we're at offensively."
The fall closed out with a three-game fall world series.
"The fall world series was very competitive," Kinneberg said. "The first game got a little out of hand, but the next two games were great. Well played, competitive and entertaining with two come from behind and walk off victories."
